Attention Farmers:

As of October 1st, 2008 it will be required by Federal law, that when you sell sheep or goats you

must  have a Country Of Origin Labeling (COOL) document signed before the sheep or goats can be

sold that day.  This document will take the place of the EID tags that were first talked about being

used as a way to identify sheep or goats from the USA.  So please stop by the office to sign your

document to prove your sheep or goats are of  USA origin.  This is a only one time signature on sheep

or goats of USA origin.
